Privacy is part of our mission
In our efforts to keep kids safe, we have made it part of our mission to ensure that the privacy of the child is paramount. We keep specific browsing private and only reveal detail to the child’s trusted adult ecosystem when a kid is in crisis.
We do not keep track of websites visited, only high level categories of sites.
We remove personally identifiable information from our systems so we’re not tracking kids activities.
Our only interest is in keeping kids safe. We track categories and aggregations of categories of where kids go, not specific browsing history.
At Safe Kids we take privacy seriously. All software runs locally on your browser and we don’t store data that is sensitive such as URL’s or the content of your emails. We store only the bare minimum to make the software operational such as moments which would allow us to change behavior (e.g., when a child is continuously trying to access inappropriate content).
In some special circumstances, and only with your permission, we may ask parents and children to give their consent to store information that can help improve our algorithms anonymously.
This is purely an opt-in, and we will only use information to improve our models.
Your data can help others without identifying who you are.
